   I had not used the product prior to needing a finishing sealer for the edge of thick leather strip. I made myself a Razor strop of thick leather and the fuzzy / frayed edge was not nice. Using a bit of care and a wooden dowel I was able to apply the Gum onto the edge and rub it into the softer leather. That was some time ago and those edges still look clean and dressed.

   Works fast and easy to use. I only had to use a small amount on the edges of my water buffalo leather holsters and it gave them a hard shiny finished edge that looks very professional. It slightly darkens the edges which I like.

   burnishes edges beautifully and I like the smell. I’ve never used anything else so I have nothing to compare it to.
