Pros: great price, decent quality wood, Great design of pieces
Cons: square size is too small for my needs, would like it to be magnetic, pieces are very light, board is very light. there are no spaces for each piece (meaning you just toss them in inside of the box and could lead to breakage of the pieces)

The craftsmanship is beautiful; the board and pieces alike. I was really impressed with all the pieces though, somewhat disappointed with the size of the board. I suppose I should have checked the measurements first and I would advise others do so before purchasing. I also noticed by the picture before I purchased this product that the pieces are stored a bit haphazardly with no set places and little cushion. I can see how pieces would break while being stored. The product came a day early in a secure box: No pieces were damaged in any way. The size of the board is alright however, I would not suggest this product to anyone hard of sight. Also, I must comment on how sturdy and beautiful the board is. It was painful for me to give this to my Grandfather for his birthday, I wanted to keep it for myself.

This is a great set for beginners. We purchased this for our 12 year old son. It is small enough for him to keep it in his backpack. We are involved in a travel sport where there is a lot of down time. It’s great to see him and his team mates passing time with something other than a DS.
