Besaw (Fort Myers, FL) – This is a beautiful puzzle of New York’s famed Times Square. Although it is advertised as a 2,000 piece puzzle, the exact piece count is 2,128. I was able to complete it in just over 2 weeks. The various colors in this puzzle is absolutely amazing. When I finished it, I used the BG Puzzle Presto system to secure it and then had it mounted in a custom frame and it is currently mounted on my bedroom wall. While the buildings are easy, the sky is hard so I saved it for last but to make it easier, I separated the sky pieces by color and then by shape which made it go easier and faster. Another tip taught to me by my grandmother is to separate the flat edge pieces and assemble the outer frame first and then work your way in. If you are looking for a challenge then I would highly recommend this puzzle. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you? | Comment Reply 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful Great distraction!, February 4, 2011 By C. L. Smith (California) – Verified Purchase(What’s this?) This review is from: Times Square 2000 Pieces Jigsaw Puzzle (Toy) This puzzle is BIG! It’s a fun challenge. The pieces are strong, not flimsy. Good quality. Puzzles are great for kids. I’m sure they play a part in some type of intellectual development. This particular puzzle is great because it has lots of colors and words (from the street signs), so it’s just easy enough to figure out where things go while still being challenging (because of the size). TONS of great detail. The only negative is the shutter speed was somewhat slow. While this creates wonderful car light patterns, it also makes parts of the puzzle a little blurry. But you could consider that a positive, as it adds to the challenge. My kids and I are loving this puzzle! We’ll visit Times Square this year, so it’s a perfect introduction. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you? | Comment Reply 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful Lots of Fun (1 piece missing), June 5, 2012 By T. A. Daniel (USA) – This review is from: Times Square 2000 Pieces Jigsaw Puzzle (Toy) This Times Square puzzle has been one of my recent favorites. The vibrant city makes for a lot of fun puzzle pieces. The sky however (which constitutes about 10% of the puzzle) is ridiculously hard. There becomes a point in which the sky is completely black — at this point, there’s no good way to put the puzzle together except for trial-and-error. While this is frustrating, the rest of the puzzle makes up for most of this. My collection had one piece missing. While I hesitate to place this blame on the manufacturer, it looks like other reviewers have had the same problem. Aside from this blemish (and the near-impossible black sky,) the 2000-piece Times Square puzzle is a good deal of fun. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you? | Comment Reply Leave a comment Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
