The product has a very nice design – the net setup is very easy & quick, there is built in room for the balls, and the rackets handle can be retracted for easy storage. However, the whole set is pretty heavy to carry, and the paddles are hollow – making it feel cheap, and it creates a load bang when they hit the ball. The kids enjoy playing but adults will find that the plastic paddles are not what they expect at that price.

Great for fixing up your old ping pong table, or for making fun use of your dining table! Store balls right in the net holder. The only issue is that the paddles are a little weird– they retract, which is cool, but that makes them not sound/work quite the way regular ones do.

We were going to refinish our 15 yr old dining room table…until we got started playing ping pong on it. Had so much fun at first with this set that we decided to leave the table as is for now, so we wouldn’t worry about the occasional dings from hitting it with the rackets.
Two other things to mention…one good, the other not so good. First the good. If you’re wondering whether you can have much fun on a table that’s smaller than a real ping pong table, our experience has been a big “YES.” For reference, our table is about 7-1/2 feet long, and 3-1/2 feet wide…so smaller than a regulation size table for sure but still bit enough to get some good action going.
Now the not-so-good thing, which caused me to lower my rating down to three stars. The retractable net really doesn’t hold up well when the ball hits it. It used to be fine at first but after we played with it for about 3 months, it lost it’s resiliency. Now you need to tighten it up a bit by hand every few rallies if you want to keep the net tight. That can be pretty annoying when you just want to play without interruption. Eventually, we bought SportCraft’s tabletop set, which seems to have a much better net design.
