Outstanding artistry, wonderful quality of pieces, and the details and bright, rich colors made this an absolute delight to put together. The scene is almost magical – a perfect little world of serenity and beauty. I appreciate quality and this puzzle met my exacting standards.

Colorful, peaceful scene. White Mountain puzzles seem to be consistent in quality, with thick pieces that fit together well. Unlike some ‘other’ brands, I’ve yet to get one without all pieces. Nothing worse than spending hours working on a puzzle only to find that it can’t be completed. Never a problem with White Mountain!

Nice scene but the quality of the puzzle is not good. A number of pieces in the box were bent or crushed. My wife says I was spoiled by Ravensburger puzzles and I guess she is right. I just ordered three new Ravensburgers.
In addition to the deformed pieces, I did not like was that it was possible for a puzzle piece to fit where it does not belong. If the color of the surrounding pieces is close, that can throw you for a loop. Also, the machine that stamps the scene onto the cardboard pieces leaves a pattern, which can be seen if you tilt a piece into the light. Sometimes that can help you align a piece properly, but mostly I found it took away from the beauty of the pieces as I fit them together. Finally, the box said that the puzzle I bought has “new, thicker pieces.” I did not find them particularly thick; I shudder to think how thin the old ones were.
My advice: pony up the couple of extra bucks for a Ravensburger. They are far superior in every way. Whichever way you choose to go, have fun with your puzzles.
