This is a great starter kit! I made a little penguin with it right away. I used some poly fiber fill as the base for the penguin so that I could save on wool. The wool isn’t super high quality as far as I can tell, but good enough for my purposes. The kit has a wide assortment of colors so if you think of something to make off the top of your head, surely the right color will be there. It came with about 6 neutral colors, too, which is great (if you want to make some animals). It came with one pair of eyes with pupils (I plan on painting these since they are a little creepy), 8 felting needles of varying lengths, and a wooden holder than can fit one needle. It came with a white felting mat which is a piece of foam, and a helpful instruction booklet (though the grammar wasn’t the greatest, it was understandable). The kit did not come with the three little things on the right of the wooden holder in the picture. However, it did come with two finger guards; one wide and the other not as wide (the slimmer one may be too small for some people). I was a little nervous to buy this kit since I am the first reviewer, but it exceeded my expectations for the price.
