I have spent a lot of money with over grips, well more money than I should have anyway. I tried many brands Head, Gamma, Babolat…..they all start out great, but eventually it will fail me as it gets moist and slippery. I wear a arm band to ensure sweat doesn’t run down my hand. It’s unfortunate that I found out about this grip from my opponent who I lost to. I told him I was frustrated at the grip because it kept slipping. he was gracious enough to give me a sample. I put it on the next game and not only did I win that game, I won many more in a new elevated level. Im sure it is not solely the grip that made me win, but I definitely think it helped a bunch. I bought 3, 3 packs and will not be trying others. It lasts longer than the other brands I have tried too.

Purchased for protecting my badminton racket’s original grip (Over Grip) from “JustTennis”. My item arrived opened, taped up, and missing the YONEX adhesive end tape mentioned in the instructions. That seller got a 1 star. I had to source a method to use the tape without the end band. This my first time using such an item and went with the same brand as my racket for uniformity. I am not familiar with other brands.
The “stickiness” in other reviews is the material causing a friction so you may GRIP it. It does not have any tacky adhesive except on the tip of the angled end. Which I used to finalize the wrap. I did a trial wrap with the protective film (half lap) estimating how much length I would need and cut about 6 inches off from the square end (badminton). It is almost the same texture as the original, but a little more spongy and clingy. Wraps and adjusts neatly along curves and turns. It does absorb some of the shock. Cannot give feedback on the adhesive end strip as I did not get any with my purchase.
For persons who DON’T want the “sticky” feeling do not buy this. This is a GRAP (GRip wrAP). It is a product designed to make the racket stay in your hand. You will not be able to freely spin and twirl it around. Try plastic shrink wrap; bandage tape; nylon marking tape; or even duct tape.

I used this grip to wrap the handle on some DIY fat bar dumbbell handles (see review of 18″ pipe). This served its purpose. The grip was easy to apply and has held up to abuse. DB’s are used daily and the grip has no signs of tearing or needing to be replacesd.
